COLLIERS WOOD CLASSES PRE-NATAL YOGA Yoga is ideal for pregnant women from 14 weeks onwards. It keeps you fit, strong and supple without straining your body, and allows you to develop the connection to your breath that provides life to the soul that you are forming within, but also during your labour. Book online for Spring Course now. PURE STRETCH YOGA Suitable for all levels and is perfect if you're looking for deep stretching, relaxation and rejuvenation. The focus is on correctly aligned supine and seated postures as well as hip openers, twists and shoulder opening. We also strengthen core abdominal muscles to support the pelvis and spine. We hold the poses for longer periods of time and develop an intense connection to the breath. SOUTH WIMBLEDON CLASSES BEGINNERS TO IMPROVERS HATHA YOGA Suitable for complete beginners or students who are wishing to go a little slower. You will learn many principle yoga postures of Hatha Yoga. We work slowly, focusing on alignment, methodology and breathing which will provide the foundation for a safe yet strong practice. BEGINNERS PLUS YOGA (Please contact Lauren to find out if there is space on Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings) A step on from the Beginners to Improvers classes and incorporate slower vinyasa flows, where we concentrate on alignment and structure of new poses. We explore pranayama (breathing techniques) and the energy body in greater detail. INTERMEDIATE VINYASA FLOW YOGA Suitable for intermediate students or for those wanting to deepen their practice. We will incorporate the art of yoga flow, linking asana, breath, sound, music and relaxation.
