Payment for classes is to be made prior to the class starting.
If we go into Lockdown again, group classes will shift to Zoom and we will finish the term online. Refunds or carrying classes will not be offered. As a self-employed yoga teacher, I thank you for your understanding.
If you miss a Group class, you can catch up on Zoom or I'll send you a class recording.
If you miss a live Zoom class, please email me for the link to the recording.
Workshop refunds will not be issued seven days before the event.
Retreat deposit is non-refundable. See below for full retreat T&Cs.
Workshop & retreat places may be transferred to another student (less your deposit).
GROUP CLASS BOOKING INFO DURING COVID-19
In accordance with the British Wheel of Yoga Guidelines

2m social distancing between mats
Most, if not all furniture removed
The rooms will be ventilated
Only one toilet available to use in each location. Please sanitise your hands before and after you leave the loo. Sanitising wipes & spray cleaner will be available for you to clean after you've used it
Each hall hirer (i.e me) is responsible for sanitising all touch points before & after class.
Venue to be deep cleaned by the Hall on Sunday evenings
On arrival and departure please:
arrive no more than 10 minutes before class and maintain 2m distancing
arrive dressed and ready for your practice
wait outside until I call you to come in
leave your shoes outside as normal
wear clean socks which you can remove once you're on your mat
wear a face mask until you're on your mat; put it on when you leave the hall or go to the loo
sanitise your hands before you enter the space (there is sanitiser outside each hall, but bring your own to have by your mat if you need it)
clear the space quickly so that I can sanitise after class. Feel free to chat away once you're outside!
Yoga Equipment & All Your Other Stuff
Students to bring hand sanitiser to sanitise hands and feet (I will also have hand sanitiser available, but I think best to have your own next to your mat to avoid moving around the room)
Feel free to wear a face mask and/or face shield while you're practicing, but according to the British Wheel of Yoga, it is not a requirement.
Please bring all your own equipment: mat, 1-2 yoga blocks, 2 yoga bricks, yoga strap, blanket and optional bolster. I will not be lending out any props, but see below prices for new and used props.
Please only bring what you need into the space (e.g. leave handbag and unnecessary layers in the car) and place all your belongings in your 2m space
Take all your own rubbish with you e.g. used tissues
In accordance with the British Wheel of Yoga, I am not intending to wear a face mask while teaching. It is also not a requirement to wear a face shield while teaching, but if anyone feels particularly strongly about me doing so, I will have one that I can put on.
I will not move around the room during the class
For the time being, I won't be giving any hands on adjustments
I will stay on my mat for the duration of the class and will provide verbal instructions from there.
COVID-19 SYMPTOMS & REPORTING
Please do not come to class:
if you have been experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days
have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
are awaiting the outcome of a COVID-19 test
if you have been contacted by the NHS test and trace service to request that you self-isolate
You must notify me immediately if:
- you or anyone in your family has COVID-19 symptoms *
- you have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms *
- you have been asked to self-isolate *
* I will notify anyone in your yoga "bubble" if anyone reports the above to me. I will have to report this to St. Matthew's, so that they can share the information with other users. It will be anonymous!

Please complete the health form prior to your first class.
It is your responsibility to inform the teacher of you have any injuries or ailments that may affect your practice prior to the start of each class so that suitable modifications can be provided. Also see above *
Participation in group classes is at your own risk.
Participation in online classes (either live on Zoom or recorded) is entirely at your own risk. Any loss, damage, injury or any other mishap will not be the responsibility of the teacher. Don’t start any exercise or fitness program without carefully assessing your own state of health and physical condition including age, illnesses or injuries that you have had or are recovering from. Practice yoga mindfully and intelligently. If in doubt, seek advice from your GP. This is subject to UK law.
Please bring all your own props: yoga mat, 2 yoga bricks, 1-2 yoga blocks, yoga strap, 1-2 blankets, optional bolster, optional eye pillow.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class so that you can set up your mat and props.
Please turn your mobile phone off before the class starts.
It is advisable not to eat two-three hours before practicing yoga.
It is advisable not to drink water 30 minutes before or after practicing yoga so that you can build prana. However, if you do need water then obviously please do so!
I will endeavour to teach all scheduled classes, however this may not always be possible.
£150 non-refundable deposit to secure your place
60 days or more prior to the retreat date: your entire payment will be refunded, less £150 which is your deposit
59-30 days prior to the retreat date: payments are not refundable, but transferable (less deposit) to another student if the space can be filled.
29 days or less prior to the retreat date: payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
