Testimonials
Here's what a few students have to say!
I wanted to try yoga for many years but was concerned that it would worsen longstanding back and knee problems. My one-to-one lessons with Lauren have proven that these concerns were unfounded; her approach is bespoke and sympathetic and focused on individual ability - there is also a significant meditative element which I have found to be immensely relaxing and beneficial. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone considering yoga, particularly those who suffer from musculoskeletal problems; you will be well looked after.

"Lauren is an outstanding teacher. I have learnt so much in Lauren’s classes which are always different and her instructions are so clear and easy to interpret. She always challenges me to a new level. Lauren is one of the most emotionally intelligent teachers I know. She has helped me to understand so much about the philosophy of yoga and applying this to my everyday life.
Lauren has a beautiful way of looking after all her students and encouraging us to be the best yogis ever!

I regularly attended Lauren's Monday and Tuesday morning classes, a few of her workshops and one of her weekend retreats before I sadly moved out of the area recently. I loved her classes so much that she was on my list of reasons not to leave Surrey!
Lauren's classes are excellent - energising, grounding, strengthening and leave you feeling like you have had a great work out all at the same time.
Physically, her accuracy and extensive knowledge means that you are constantly tweaking and improving your practice. She was always aware of any physical limitations in the room and would quietly suggest an alternative when moves weren't suitable.
She's an amazingly intuitive person too, and this shines through in her teaching above all else - her awareness of what anyone or everyone in the room needs at that given moment, and the magical energy - pausing, appreciating and ultimately uplifting, is what makes her classes truly extraordinary.
Lauren is an exceptional yoga teacher, the best I've ever experienced - it's hard to find the words to do her justice... far better to go and experience it for yourself!

"As a physiotherapist I have been impressed from day one by Lauren's attention to joint safety and in her ability to consider and provide options for individuals with specific physical problems. To me she provides the perfect balance of both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga and I am constantly inspired by her enthusiasm and teaching."

"What makes Lauren a great yoga teacher is she actually teaches. She guides and adjusts, supports and encourages. Whatever your age and ability, she helps you stretch in ways you never thought possible."

"Lauren's classes touch the core of you. The heart is engaged in a tender yet simple teaching of a few wise words. When lost the inner warrior can be found to offer holding and strength. Each set of classes builds intelligently and safely the skill and stamina we need for the modern world. Safely..."

"I have been practicing with Lauren for the last year and a half. I have two young children and a stressful job. Submitting to her expert and fun instruction is such a wonderful way to reset, relax and recharge. I have tried other classes during her term breaks and the big difference with Lauren is it really feels like she is investing in each of our personal practices. She learns our limits and, when we are ready (inevitably before we know it!), she safely takes us over them. I cannot recommend her enough."
